How to Pursue the Truth (15)

Last time, we fellowshipped about three specific manifestations of deviance in those reincarnated from devils: lewdness, provocativeness, and dissoluteness—that is, deviant manifestations people have regarding sexual desire. The main problem with such people is that their attitude toward sexual desire is particularly dissolute; they transgress the absolute baselines of the conscience and reason normal humanity ought to possess, and they never restrain or control their sexual desires, but rather give them free rein. There is also a portion of people that is especially dissolute; that is to say, on the foundation of being dissolute, they become unscrupulous, going from bad to worse. Some of them even seek out and engineer all sorts of opportunities to satisfy their sexual desires while preaching the gospel. They specially preach the gospel to members of the opposite sex, and once they find a suitable target, they launch their offensive, using various methods and means to lure the other party into taking the bait, even employing despicable tricks to achieve their aims. While preaching the gospel, these people not only behave this way, but they also do things that bring great shame to God’s name. It’s not just that they entertain lewd thoughts, but rather, they exploit the opportunity of preaching the gospel as a pretext to achieve satisfy their sexual desires. Moreover, they commit the same transgression again and again, doing the same things to people of different ages and in different circumstances. Tell Me, when such people are discovered, how should they be handled? Should they be allowed to continue doing the duty of preaching the gospel, or should they be sent away and stopped from doing this duty? (They should be sent away.) Is it a pity to send them away? What if they could gain another person? (If they’re kept around and allowed to continue preaching the gospel, the consequences will be even more severe. Once they engage in licentious activities, shame is brought upon God’s name.) Tell Me, can people whose minds are constantly preoccupied with thoughts of sexual desire gain people when they preach the gospel? (No, they cannot.) Even if they occasionally gain a few people through preaching the gospel, they are also capable of doing things that bring shame to God’s name. Doesn’t the use of such people doing more harm than good? (Yes.) Then is it still a pity to send them away? (No.) Can this type of person change? Is their problem easy to resolve? (It isn’t. This is a problem of their nature essence; it cannot change.) People who are filled with lewd desire are not human; a devil dwells within them, using their flesh to say what it wants to say and do what it wants to do. If others use exhortations and warnings that accord with conscience and reason, can these things change their nature essence? (They cannot.) Then can fellowshipping the truth to help them resolve this problem of theirs? (It cannot.) Even if they are pruned, someone is assigned to supervise them, or they are moved to a different environment so they have no opportunity to indulge their sexual desires, can the devilish nature within them be resolved? (No.) In whatever people reincarnated from devils do, they are devoid of humanity. This is determined by their nature essence. Therefore, no matter how you fellowship the truth to exhort or help them, it cannot resolve the problem of their nature essence. For one thing, this is because the nature essence of devils hates the truth and cannot accept the truth in the slightest. For another, those reincarnated from devils lack conscience and reason, and they don’t have a sliver of awareness regarding the evil they commit and never feel shame, remorse, or distress. Thus, they do not possess the sense of shame or the sense of propriety, that normal people should have. They don’t understand human morality and ethics, or the dignity and sense of shame one should possess in conducting oneself. They understand none of these things. Even if they can come out with some nice-sounding doctrines, it doesn’t prove they possess normal humanity; they are merely being hypocritical and deceiving people. Therefore, no matter what truths are fellowshipped to such people, their nature essence cannot be changed. There is only one solution, then: Do not use such people in duties. Clear them out. This resolves the problem. Some people say, “If they’re eliminated and cleared out, and they no longer indulge their sexual desire and disturb the work within God’s house, then won’t they still harm people if they do these things among nonbelievers? Shouldn’t they be kept on in God’s house, with someone assigned to supervise them, to prevent them from harming people in society?” Is this statement correct? (No.) Why is it incorrect? (Keeping them in God’s house harms the brothers and sisters, disturbs the church’s work, and disrupts God’s work. This is inappropriate. Let them return to the world. The world is filled with devils and Satans, and no matter what kinds of disturbances they cause, it cannot be considered harming devils, because they are all devils, so what they do cannot be considered to be doing harm.) Does this view accord with reality? (It does.) This view is correct. Those who indulge in sexual desires are devils, and they cannot be allowed to remain in God’s house to harm brothers and sisters. Whatever they do out in society has nothing to do with God’s house, because those who do not believe in God lack humanity and are all devils. No matter how devils fight among themselves, it won’t disturb the work of God’s house. They all belong to Satan and they’re in league with Satan in the first place, and they’ve been fighting with each other and harming each other for thousands of years. What business is it of ours? The harm they inflict upon each other is something they engage in willingly. They are all of the same foul kind; birds of a feather. In short, God’s house does not want this type of person. Because such devils do not attend to proper tasks and have no conscience or reason, wherever they are, they only cause disturbances, and they only engage in sabotage and destruction. They cannot do anything beneficial to people. They can only harm people. Even if they can render some service, this does more harm than good. Such a person may appear quite guileless and seem not to have done anything bad, but once they have the opportunity, they are capable of committing major evils. Therefore, such people should be promptly cleared out and dealt with. Although they might render some service and do some correct things, this doesn’t mean they have truly repented, much less that their nature essence has changed. Regardless of their current condition, one should not be misled by their false appearance, much less trust them or believe they can do any work. Because their nature essence is that of a devil, wherever they live a church life, they are a ticking time bomb and pose a threat to everyone. Even if they temporarily refrain from doing bad things, their every word and action, their every move, will still interfere with your mood and emotions, and may even sway your views. This is the consequence of having a devil nearby. For example, suppose you’ve recently been in a bad state or somewhat negative, or you’ve heard some negative propaganda and rumors, which have caused you to develop notions about God. If there is a devil near you, you might keep having nightmares when you sleep. It could even be that after you converse with them, not only does your state fail to become positive and uplifted, but you feel your spirit sinking lower and lower, becoming darker and darker. The closer you get to them, the less you can feel God’s presence. The longer you are in contact with them, the farther your heart drifts from God, the more meaningless you feel believing in God is, and even their every word and action will affect your thoughts and influence your views and attitudes toward the people, events, and things around you. However, when you interact and associate with ordinary corrupt humans, it’s different, and you won’t have these adverse reactions. Therefore, even if people cannot obviously sense the harm caused by such people who are devils when they’re nearby, the harm they pose to others is constant, as is the threat they pose. Even if they appear quite friendly toward you, they don’t seem to hate you, and they haven’t judged or attacked you, as long as they are a devil and not a human, their words, speech, behavior, and actions will still have an impact on you. This impact comes about without you realizing it, and those who don’t understand the truth may not perceive it. Therefore, if it’s discovered within a gospel team that there is such a person reincarnated from a devil, especially one who wantonly indulges their sexual desires, they must be promptly dealt with and cleared out. Evil must not be indulged. People always think that in the gospel teams, having one more person adds one share of strength to the gospel efforts. Having one more person is acceptable, but adding a devil means trouble. If it’s one more person, even if their caliber is a bit poor and they can only do simple tasks, at the very least they won’t disturb or damage the church’s work like a devil would. But a devil is different. Perhaps they are outwardly articulate and eloquent, and based on their caliber, they could be competent as a supervisor for certain area of work. However, given their nature essence, it is absolutely impossible for them to do work well. All they are able to do is make a complete mess of it, because whatever devils do brings about disruption, disturbance, and damage. Therefore, the evil deeds of such people should be promptly exposed and discerned, so that God’s chosen people can identify and discern the evil deeds of devils. Unless you haven’t discovered them or realized they are a devil, and you feel they are a normal person who just occasionally reveals some wicked lust—that might barely justify allowing them to stay on for further observation. If you discover they don’t just occasionally reveal wicked lust, but take pleasure in it, like those licentious people who, wherever they go, make it their priority to seek out members of the opposite sex they like to indulge their sexual desires—like devils seeking souls they can devour, misleading, trapping, and harming people everywhere—and whomever they come into contact with suffers their harassment, and they constantly leave such issues in their wake, then this is not the behavior of a human; it is clearly that of a devil. Devils should be cleared out as soon as possible to prevent future trouble. People occasionally transgress, lose control, and even do things that cross the absolute baselines of humanity, but this behavior isn’t persistant, they don’t take pleasure in it, and after doing wrong and transgressing, they feel remorse, indebtedness, and shame. When they encounter the same situation or matter again, they can avoid temptation and show that they have turned back and repented. But devils never turn back, because they cannot repent, nor do they repent. Look, has the nature of devils to resist God, blaspheme God, and attack God ever changed? It has not. No matter how long God has held sovereignty over and managed mankind, and no matter how much of His almightiness, wisdom, and authority God has revealed, Satan remains defiant and continues to clamor against God. Even though it has always been God’s vanquished foe, it still clamors against God, and it still attacks and resists Him. Therefore, if a person’s nature essence is that of a devil, their deviant nature essence can never, ever change. Deviance is their true face, deviance is their preference and also their nature, and so they will not change. No matter which church you see this type of person in, you should expose and discern them, and then clear them out as quickly as possible. Don’t give devils a chance to repent. Taking this approach benefits the church’s work and God’s chosen people. Then what kind of person should be given a chance to repent? You must be certain such a person is a normal person, not a devil, and that they transgressed only due to temporary weakness or under special circumstances, but that afterward they felt remorse, even hating themselves and slapping their own faces. You must be certain that their conscience can function. Such people can be given a chance to repent. But devils indulge their sexual desires whenever they have the chance. This is determined by their nature. Therefore, devils cannot be given a chance to repent, and they should be dealt with as soon as possible, cleared out or expelled. This is the principle for treating this type of person, and it is the best way to handle them. Is this matter clear now? (Yes.)

Some people cannot see through things. They see that some of those who are devils are quite mature in age, yet still constantly engage in the game of sexual desire. No matter how others fellowship the truth, they pay it no mind. Even if they admit face-to-face that they’ve done wrong, afterward they still do whatever they want. People who cannot see through things are left baffled: “How can devils have such strong sexual desires? How can they still be so deviant at such a mature age? This person is a habitual offender in these matters, consistently behaving this way. How can they have no sense of shame? How do they not know restraint?” Is this not failing to see through things? After believing in God for so many years, they still do not understand how to treat people based on their nature essence, nor do they understand that the nature essence of devils never changes. Isn’t this very foolish and ignorant? Devils are born that way; whether male or female, whatever their age, they are precisely such despicable things. Their nature essence is that of a devil. One manifestation of the lewdness, seductiveness, and dissoluteness of devils is specially engaging in the game of sexual desire, and doing so until their flesh perishes. Therefore, no matter how old they live to be, they remain this type of person and will not change—this is nothing strange. You see they are not young, and outwardly they don’t look like the type to engage in the game of sexual desire, but a devil dwells within them. Their engaging in sexual desire is not limited by the age or gender of their flesh, nor by their environment. It’s not necessarily related to their family or parents either; it’s not a matter of genetics, but a problem of their inner nature essence. They have a deviant nature essence, and that determines that their attribute is that of a devil. Because their nature essence has already been exposed, and their nature essence determines their attribute, so for people of this type, regardless of what profession they previously engaged in, regardless of how old they are now, regardless of their eloquence or their innate conditions—none of these affect their attribute. If you only look at their outward appearance, you will be easily misled by it, saying: “Look, this person appears very refined and cultured, and speaks quite elegantly; surely they’re someone who knows to possess a sense of propriety, righteousness, integrity, and shame. How could they do such wicked things? They don’t seem like the type to engage in the game of sexual desire!”—then you cannot see through this matter; you find it somewhat inconceivable and somewhat hard to believe. It’s very foolish of you to hold this viewpoint! A devil can do devilish things regardless of the flesh it wears. No matter what this person looks like outwardly, how old they are, or what their personality is like, they will do whatever accords with their nature. It has nothing to do with their appearance, age, or education, nor with their religious background, and certainly not with their ethnicity, and of course, it also has nothing to do with their family environment. That they can do these things and have these manifestations is determined by their essence and nature. Therefore, for one thing, don’t find it strange or inconceivable; and for another, don’t do foolish things. Don’t always want to tolerate them, be patient with them, and give them chances to repent, wanting to save them so that they change, so that they come to love the truth and can return to the track of normal humanity. If you still intend to help and save these people who are devils, then you are too foolish—you don’t understand the essence of this type of person, don’t understand the principles for treating them, don’t understand the truth, and don’t understand God’s intentions. If you see they have a deviant nature essence and still intend to help them so that they repent, it shows you don’t believe God’s words; you are not viewing or judging people, events, and things based on God’s words, and you have no true submission to or acceptance of God’s words. You only want to rely on what you see, based on outward phenomena, to view and judge various people, events, and things, and only want to act based on your own enthusiasm and good intentions. This is a fallacious thought and viewpoint, and also a manifestation of rebelliousness. The solution for handling this type of person who engages in the game of sexual desire is simple: Treat them according to their essence. As long as you’re certain they are this type of person, deal with them by clearing them out; there’s no need to give them another chance to repent. Don’t be constrained even if others don’t understand. The essence of devils will not change. They are this sort of wretched creature in their youth, they remain this type of person in middle age, and in old age—despite their advanced years—they are still this sort of wretch; they won’t change. Tell Me, aren’t there seventy- or eighty-year-old men who lure away young girls, or sixty- or seventy-year-old women who seek out young guys? (Yes.) There are many such strange and deviant things in society. Did they only start engaging in the game of sexual desire when they got old? (No.) They were like this when young; they’ve been this sort of wretch their whole life. What terms do nonbelievers use to describe this? This is what they call “robbing the cradle”; they call this being amorous. Look how euphemistic their wording is. They use terms or sayings like “amorous,” “free-spirited,” “knows how to live,” or “able to break through worldly conventions” to describe this type of situation and this type of person. The terms and sayings nonbelievers use to define such matters are disgusting. They cannot apply correct terminology from the root, from the essence, to characterize these matters, because, on one hand, the nonbelieving world and this mankind itself are deviant, and on the other hand, no one can see through to the root of such problems. Therefore, their viewpoints in defining these matters are very shallow, and also very absurd and wicked; they are divorced from the essence of these matters.

After fellowshipping about the manifestations of lewdness, licentiousness, and being sexually provocative within deviance in those who are reincarnated from devils, let’s fellowship about another type of manifestation of deviance—bizarreness. The word “bizarre” encompasses much content, which certainly has some connections to the specific manifestations of bizarreness. Besides being bizarre, there are also manifestations like being supernatural, extreme, and abnormal; these are all deviant manifestations of those who are Satans and devils. These aspects—being bizarre, supernatural, extreme, and abnormal—are things people see in daily life or in their interactions with others from time to time. Let’s start with the most severe cases, then discuss moderate ones. In short, regardless of the manifestation, they all involve the nature essence of deviance. The most severe situation is frequently speaking in tongues. This is particularly the case during prayer at gatherings, where they might speak some bizarre tongues that don’t belong to any actual language and that no one can understand. When this happens, it’s no longer the person themselves speaking, but rather them being dominated by another spirit. They themselves don’t even know what they’re saying; they haven’t learned it, nor has anyone taught them, yet in a certain situation, they just speak it out. Sometimes they speak in tongues proactively, sometimes passively; sometimes consciously, sometimes without being aware of it. Isn’t this very strange? After they finish speaking, if you ask them to do it again, they can’t. If you ask them what they said, they don’t know either. This is one kind of situation. There are also people who often hear voices that normal people cannot hear. For example, they might hear someone nearby speaking to them, but others cannot see or hear anyone. In fact, they are conversing and talking with unknown beings. They speak with great enthusiasm, and you can’t interrupt them or get a word in. Moreover, the content of their speech is rambling; words suddenly pop out disconnectedly and without reason. As an onlooker, watching this makes you feel afraid and gives you the creeps. Aren’t such manifestations very bizarre? (Yes.) This type of person also frequently sees strange things, things invisible to the naked eye in the material world. For example, some see deceased relatives waving, smiling, or nodding at them, or even greeting them. They become particularly excited after seeing this. There are even some people who frequently see figures in black approaching and trussing them up; they struggle and blurt out, “Release me! I won’t go! I’m not going anywhere!” People around them ask what’s wrong, but they don’t sense that anyone is speaking to them and just keep struggling, shouting, “God, save me!…” The figures in black are scared away, and then they return to normal. After coming to their senses, they ask those around them if they saw the figures in black. Normal people cannot see them; it would be a serious problem if they could. But these individuals can see and sense them. There’s another kind of situation as well: Some people are usually quiet, not fond of joking or being boisterous, but somehow they suddenly start spinning in place, crying, laughing, causing a ruckus, and sweating profusely. There are even some who suddenly crawl on the ground like snakes, or walk like ducks. Suddenly, a living human turns into an animal; their demeanor and actions become exactly like an animal’s, completely different from a human’s. They exhibit these manifestations from time to time. Isn’t this bizarre? (Yes.) Aren’t these bizarre manifestations supernatural? (Yes.) These manifestations are very supernatural. Supernatural means abnormal, beyond natural or normal circumstances—this is called supernatural. It’s out of the ordinary, different from the normal manifestations of ordinary people; it’s abnormal. This is called being bizarre, supernatural, abnormal. Of course, these manifestations have nothing to do with being extreme, but judging from the nature of being bizarre, supernatural, and abnormal, these manifestations have a deviant essence and do not conform to the manifestations of normal corrupt humans of the flesh. Normal humans of the flesh are limited, restrained, and controlled by human instincts, free will, normal thinking, reason, and the various abilities of normal humanity. But these bizarre, supernatural, abnormal manifestations in those who are devils have already transcended the scope of normal human instincts, free will, abilities, normal thinking, and normal reason. That is, they are no longer controlled by normal humanity; they are out of control. Being out of control means acting abnormally. One sees in them some unusual manifestations and practices that normal people shouldn’t exhibit. This means such people are not controlled by normal reason, normal thinking, or free will, but are controlled and driven by something external or some evil spirit, causing them to do things that transcend normal humanity, things that are unfathomable, perplexing, and even creepy to others. This is being called bizarre, supernatural, abnormal. Tell Me, aren’t these manifestations deviant? (Yes.) These bizarre manifestations can certainly be called deviant. Those reincarnated from devils have many bizarre manifestations. For example, some people often hear someone inexplicably speaking to them, but others cannot hear it. They also frequently hear a voice in their minds conversing with them, instructing them to do this or that. Others can always see things that normal people cannot see or sense. They say, “I saw a troop of soldiers passing by on the road, numbering three to five hundred if not one or two thousand, with cannons and tanks—it was quite a commotion!” Others cannot see these things, but they can. We are not concerned with whether what they see is factual or a phenomenon from the spiritual realm; the very fact that they can see these things is highly unusual. Why do I say it’s unusual? Why do I say this is a manifestation of deviance? Because any sense organ of a normal person created by God has certain limits to what it can perceive, whether it’s the surrounding environment or the people, events, and things around them. They’re all perceived within the range achievable by the instincts of the flesh; whether it’s what can be seen, heard, smelled, or felt by the flesh, there are limits. What do these limits refer to? They refer to being restricted to the scope of the material world. Why, then, did God give people such sense organs? It is so that anything not belonging to the material world, whether it’s a positive or negative thing from the spiritual realm, does not interfere with people’s lives, does not interfere with any of people’s sense organs, and does not affect people’s order and patterns of life in the material world. Therefore, humans are born into this material world, and regardless of what else exists outside the material world, God will not allow you to see, hear, or sense these things beyond the scope of your fleshly sense organs. This is to protect your mind and intellect from interference by any beings outside the material world, allowing you to live normally. As long as a person’s mind and intellect are normal, their free will will function normally, their judgment will be normal, and all aspects of their innate human conditions will remain in their original state, undamaged. What does undamaged refer to? It means your nervous system, your sense organs, your caliber, and all other aspects of your innate conditions are normal and sound within the scope of fleshly life. When the mind and intellect are normal, all these aspects of a person will be normal and will be able to maintain their original state. If what a person’s sense organs can perceive exceeds the range achievable by the flesh, no longer bound by this constraint, then problems will arise with their mind and intellect; they will be influenced, damaged, and disturbed by things from outside the material world. Then problems will arise with their nerves, and their minds will become disordered. What kind of situation will this lead to? They will become mentally ill; they will go mad, rave, talk nonsense, run around shamelessly, crying and causing a ruckus. Such a person is then completely ruined. What does being ruined refer to? It means something else has entered the person’s heart, disturbing and damaging their mind and intellect, causing their heart not to be controlled by normal reason but by some other sort of thing. Once that other thing controls a person, the outward manifestation, medically speaking, is schizophrenia. Once a person has schizophrenia, are they still a normal person? (No.) They are no longer a normal person, and God will not work on such people. Understood? (Understood.)

What role do the free will, normal thinking, and conscience and reason given by God to people play for them? Don’t they play the role of protecting people’s minds and intellect? (Yes.) Playing the role of protecting people’s minds and intellect is equivalent to playing the role of protecting people; they ensure people’s psyches and reason are normal, not interfered with by things outside the material world, nor disturbed by any sounds or images from outside the material world. This allows people to believe in God peacefully, live normally, and ensures their personal safety. This is a good thing. But those filled with bizarre, supernatural, and abnormal manifestations do not possess the free will, normal thinking, and conscience and reason of normal people. Anytime, anywhere, they can see bizarre things or scenes invisible to ordinary people, hear sounds inaudible to ordinary people, or do things ordinary people cannot do, exhibiting bizarre behaviors. People around them cannot understand it, and are unable to see through to the essence of such matters. This type of person is reincarnated from a devil; they are not part of humankind. It’s not that Satan captured them later in life; rather, this type of person is essentially a devil. Simply put, the mind and intellect of someone who is a devil are not normal from birth; that is, their free will, thinking, and reason are all unsound. Even if they receive education, they do not possess these things of normal humanity. You see them speaking relatively normally in typical circumstances when they are not having an episode, but this doesn’t mean they are normal people. Their having these bizarre manifestations shows they are not normal people, but non-human—devils. These devious, supernatural, and abnormal manifestations of theirs are not learned from anyone, nor are they transmitted by anyone. How did they come about then? They are innate; such a person’s attribute is that of a devil. What does having the attribute of a devil mean? There are two meanings. The first is a type of person who is reincarnated from a devil. The second is a type of person who is born without a human spirit and is later possessed by a devil. In short, the nature essence of such people is that of a devil, not of a human. Precisely because they are not human, their sense organs and all aspects of their innate conditions are different and distinct from those of normal people. In terms of sense organs, they can often sense things that normal people cannot sense, see, or hear. In terms of the instincts of the flesh, the things they do or say, some of their manifestations, often make people feel they exceed the scope of normal human instincts; they are very supernatural. What does supernatural refer to? It means being removed from the instincts of the flesh. Normal people cannot exceed the range achievable by the instincts of the flesh, but these individuals do so easily; they are not controlled or limited by the instincts of the flesh, so naturally they often exhibit bizarre, supernatural, and abnormal behaviors or practices. Are you clear about the essence of this type of person now? (Yes.) Do you envy this type of person? (No.) Is envying them a good thing? (No.) Some people say, “Look, they can speak in tongues during prayer; we can’t understand or speak it. And they know several languages without learning them. They never get sick, don’t feel hungry after days without food, and don’t feel tired after days without sleep.” Others say, “This guy is capable; he can look into the past and predict the future, knows everything from astronomy to geography, can read people’s fortunes from their faces, and can tell fortunes. No matter what a person looks like, he knows their fate at a glance. He’s truly a master! At night, you see him sleeping, but actually, he’s gone to Hades to work as a servant.” Some people envy this type of person for their abilities. Isn’t envying such people foolish? (Yes.) Have you ever envied these supernatural people with special powers, saying, “I don’t have any special powers. If only I knew a little magic; if it were hot and I wanted ice cream, with just a wave of my hand I could conjure up some ice cream bars—chocolate, strawberry, whatever flavor I wanted”? Have you ever had such thoughts? Everyone has childish thoughts; when people see clearly that these thoughts are wrong, they can naturally let them go. God just wants normal people to experience life, appreciate life, experience life’s joys and sorrows, its various hardships and frustrations, and in the process of experiencing, appreciate God’s sovereignty, recognize the various incorrect attitudes created beings have toward the Creator, and then return to the right path, achieving worship of God and submission to God’s sovereignty and arrangements. When people have these experiences and appreciations of life, they can appreciate the fact that the Creator holds sovereignty over human destiny, then acknowledge, believe in, and submit to the fact that the Creator holding sovereignty over human destiny. Afterward, they can return to the right path and be proper created beings. Don’t live according to any unrealistic thoughts; those things will never become reality. Those supernatural, bizarre, and abnormal things are forever the exclusive domain of Satan and devils; they have nothing to do with normal humans. Therefore, no matter when, don’t ever think of becoming a supernatural person, a person full of special powers, nor think of exceeding your own instincts, or your own limits. Just be an ordinary person with your feet on the ground, keep to your rightful place, and fulfill your duty. This is what people ought to do.

Are the manifestations of bizarreness in those who are devils basically clear now? These are some manifestations that are the most severe. They clearly make people feel and realize that such people are not of the same kind as normal people. They appear highly aberrant among normal people. This aberrance makes people feel that their behavior and demeanor, as well as their various manifestations in daily life, are particularly bizarre, supernatural, and abnormal—they are just different from those of ordinary people. They are not limited by the instincts of the flesh, and they cannot restrain their irrational behaviors, and seem to be without any awareness at all, as if they are possessed by evil spirits. This should be characterized as the deviant nature essence of devils, something people should reject. These supernatural and abnormal things should not be envied, much less pursued. If you once intended to pursue being a supernatural person or to do these supernatural things, then hit the brakes. Turn back, and you will find the shore at hand. Do not plan on being such a person. Once you embark upon this path and a devil creeps into your mind, God will no longer want you, and you will be ruined. Why do I say you will be ruined? Because once a devil possesses you and controls your mind, you will come to no good end. Once a devil possesses you, it begins to interfere with you, disturbing your thoughts and your mind. It takes part in your daily life, and it takes part in your thought process when considering people, events, and things. If you refuse its interference, you will gradually lose your volition, and in the end, you will meekly submit. When a devil completely controls you, in medical terms, you will diagnosed as schizophrenic, and in God’s house, you will be sentenced to death. Y—You will be finished. Ruined. Is someone diagnosed as schizophrenic a normal person? (No.) Does God still want such a person? In God’s eyes, what kind of person is this? (A non-human.) In God’s eyes, you have been captured by Satan. This might sound a bit abstract, so to put it plainly, it means Satan controls your heart. It means that Satan reigns over and holds power in your heart, and that you’ve become Satan’s puppet. This means you’ve been captured by Satan. Once someone is captured by Satan, they become the same as those who are devils, and they quickly become bizarre, supernatural, and abnormal. Such people are beyond saving. What do I mean by this? I’m telling you that you need to have discernment regarding the bizarre manifestations of those who are devils. After gaining discernment, you must stay away from such people and not get close to them. No matter what they say or do, do not engage. Don’t give them the time of day. For example, suppose they speak of something you absolutely cannot see or sense. Their purpose in telling you this is to get close to you and to lure you in. If you feel curious and fervently envy and follow them, then you are in great danger. Why do I say you are in danger? Because this is Satan misleading and luring people, and it is seeking souls it can devour. If you have no discernment toward Satan whatsoever and still feel curious and envious, you have already succumbed to temptation, and it’s very likely that Satan will seize the opportunity to work on you. Therefore, you are in great danger. You approach Satan without any guardedness—isn’t this foolish? (Yes.) When Satan sees you don’t have any guardedness toward it, it will incessantly try to tease and entice you, like a rogue. If you don’t refuse, it assumes you’re giving tacit consent, so it will proceed to do more. If you always feel curious about the bizarre, supernatural, and abnormal things spoken by those who are Satans, and even ask and inquire about them, doesn’t this prove you are interested in and not repulsed by such things? Being interested in such things is not a good sign. If you are interested in these things, in Satan’s eyes, it means you are not interested in God, the truth, or positive things. This delights it and, naturally, it will happily extend a “friendly” hand to you, intending to focus its efforts on you. In this way, you are in danger. Therefore, when encountering such people, do not casually get close to them, and do not become interested in them. Instead, you should have discernment, guard against them, and distance yourself from them. Some people say, “If we don’t approach or take an interest in them, how can we discern them? As the saying goes, ‘Know yourself and know your enemy, and you will never be defeated.’ If we don’t infiltrate the enemy, how can we know ourselves and know our enemy?” Is this statement correct? It’s like when a pandemic breaks out, some scientists and researchers insist on getting their hands on and studying the virus, and as a result, some end up contracting the virus themselves and dying. Therefore, you must strictly guard against those devils who exhibit bizarre and supernatural manifestations. It is better to be overly cautious than to give them a chance to harm you. This is the smart way to practice. For one thing, don’t take an interest in them, and don’t contact or get close to them. For another, don’t pursue or emulate the bizarre, supernatural manifestations or theirs. This is also how you should practice. If you frequently come into contact with these supernatural, bizarre, and abnormal people, and in your unguardedness, you become influenced by them, you will soak these manifestations in, and unconsciously they will be preserved in your heart and memory. Then, without being aware of it, you will want to pursue and imitate them. This is an even more dangerous signal. Once you want to pursue and imitate them, that means the defenses of your heart have completely collapsed. This is equivalent to you agreeing to let Satan enter your heart to control and take possession of you. In this, you are handing yourself over to Satan, and in this way, Satan can quickly take control of you. Then aren’t you ruined? You see, it’s truly difficult for people to give their hearts to God. It does not easily occur that God holds power in people’s hearts. It is not without effort that God takes charge and holds power in people’s hearts. The work God does on humankind involves watering, shepherding, enlightening, illuminating, guiding, and protecting them based on their innate conditions. Additionally, God makes use of discipline, chastening, chastisement, and judgment, while also setting up all sorts of situations for people, which allows them, as they mature in objective situations, to gradually gain knowledge of God’s work and various aspects of the truth, and gradually—according to the thinking of normal humanity—enables God’s words and the truth to take root in their hearts and become their life, and thus, these people come to be gained by God. There is a process to all of this. But Satan’s misleading and corrupting of people is different. Why do we say that Satan’s essence is deviant? It forcibly possesses and controls people. This aspect is enough to prove that Satan’s essence is deviant. This is concrete proof. When you want to pursue being the type of person who is a devil, and when you pursue these bizarre, supernatural, and abnormal manifestations, behaviors, and abilities, your heart opens up to Satan. This is as if, in your heart, you are telling Satan: “Come in, I have a place reserved for you. You can control my whole being.” What will Satan say to you? “If you listen to me and allow me to hold power in your heart, you can learn everything you want to possess. You will have bizarre, supernatural things, you will surpass ordinary people, and you will transcend common people.” People’s pursuit of these bizarre, supernatural, and abnormal behaviors or abilities is equivalent to them conversing with Satan, and it is also equivalent to them embracing Satan in their hearts. If you pursue these bizarre, supernatural things, Satan will quickly begin to work in your heart. At this point, when you listen to God’s words again, you will no longer have the thoughts, views, and attitudes of a normal person, but will have made a 180-degree turn. Your attitude toward the truth will be completely different from that of a normal person. What you manifest will be aversion to the truth and hostility toward the truth. That’s how it is. If you are averse to and hostile toward the truth, can you still gain the truth? You cannot. You have been captured by Satan. Therefore, regarding the bizarre, supernatural, and abnormal manifestations of those reincarnated from devils, people must strictly guard against them, treat them with caution and prudence, and not dismiss them as unimportant. That is, you must have discernment toward these manifestations and not take an interest in them. Do not get close to such people, much less secretly envy, admire, or even pursue and imitate them in your heart. Instead, you must stay away from this type of person, have discernment toward them, have a clear stance, and draw a clear boundary between them and yourself. Understood? (Understood.)

What we just fellowshipped were the most severe manifestations of bizarreness in those who are devils. These manifestations are somewhat easier for people to discern. There are also some manifestations that are only slightly less severe. That is, in daily life, they often have some extreme thoughts and views, and extreme behaviors and practices; their actions often exceed the range that normal humanity can tolerate. For example, if they say or do something wrong, they hate themselves, slap their own faces, and even punish themselves by not eating during the day and not sleeping at night. They often avail of extreme methods to punish their flesh, using this as a way to show their determination to correct their errors. Someone might advise them, “Doing this won’t solve the problem. You must first reflect on and come to know yourself based on God’s words, then find the principles and path of practice, and only then can gradual change occur. Changing any kind of corrupt disposition is not something that can happen in one or two days; it requires a certain amount of time, there needs to be a process.” This is an accurate statement, but they neither accept nor practice it. They do not approach various problems based on the truth principles but adopt extreme measures. How extreme are they? Well, they often use methods that harm their own flesh and methods that torment themselves, to solve problems. Isn’t that extreme? (Yes.) They treat others this way too, using extreme methods against them. They also use extreme methods to treat various matters as well. For example, some women are often very busy with their duty and feel that spending time styling and washing their hair is too much of a hassle, so they simply shave all their hair off. To reduce the frequency of shaving, they even apply some chemical products to restrict normal hair growth. Isn’t this extreme? Seeing that she’s bald, people think she looks like a man, but judging by her voice and figure, they think she seems like a woman—they just can’t tell if she’s male or female. Only after asking other brothers and sisters do they learn she is female and shaved her head to save trouble. Some undiscerning people even give a thumbs-up to this, admiring such a person: “Look, her determination to rebel against the flesh is truly beyond ordinary people. Her hatred for the flesh is real hatred; she really takes action when it comes to not cherishing the flesh! One day I’ll shave my head like her too.” Some even imitate her! Aren’t they of the same kind? They’ve met a kindred spirit; not only do they lack discernment toward this matter, but they also greatly praise it and want to emulate it. Aren’t these extreme people? (Yes.) Tell Me, don’t extreme people do everything with a deviant energy? (Yes.) Where does this evil energy come from? Is there this deviant energy in normal humanity? (No.) Then why isn’t there this deviant energy in normal humanity? Because, if people have the thinking, conscience, and reason of normal humanity, they will consider matters in a relatively normal, positive, and practical way; thus, they absolutely will not engage in these extreme behaviors. That is, no matter what they do, whether it’s something they like or not, they will behave normally and rationally, and will not go to extremes. Can it then be said that there is something wrong with the thinking of this type of person who goes to extremes? (Yes.) There’s some problem with their comprehension, isn’t there? (Yes.) For example, God requires people to be loyal in doing their duty. They ponder how to achieve being loyal and come to the conclusion that they must suffer hardship, so they practice suffering hardship: They follow regulations for every meal, eating a set number of grains of rice and pieces of vegetable; when their clothes wear out, they patch them and continue wearing them, appearing like ascetics to others; while others sleep six to eight hours daily, they sleep only one or two. They feel they have the resolve to suffer hardship and that they are more loyal than anyone else. They always ponder on these extreme thoughts and behaviors, which normal people cannot understand. For example, if they say something incorrectly or misuse a word while talking to someone and are laughed at, they feel disgraced and ponder: “I will never use this word again in my life, and that’s not all—I will never see this person again in my life, and never speak to this person, so they can’t find fault with me!” And they can do it—they can adhere to this. They can adhere to any extreme behavior or thought and view for a lifetime, and refuse to be persuaded by anyone. They just adhere like this, and they even have reasons and bases for their adherence, believing this is a manifestation of submitting to the truth, a manifestation of loving God, and a manifestation of loyalty. Tell Me, aren’t such people troublesome? (Yes.) Are they easy to get along with? (No.) Then how do their behaviors arise? Aren’t they caused by a kind of extreme thinking? They regard these extreme behaviors and manifestations as practicing the truth and persist in doing so. Aren’t these extreme thoughts and views the source of these behaviors in this type of person? They believe that doing things in this way is practicing the truth and expressing loyalty to God, and moreover, they inwardly condemn and discriminate against anyone who doesn’t do the same, showing disdain. For example, the woman mentioned earlier who shaved her head; seeing others not shaving their heads, she thinks, “Humph, you keep such long hair, even styling it in various ways. You’re all so vain; you don’t love God! Look at me, I’ve been bald for so many years and never feared being laughed at; I’m not vain. You keep your hair so long and have to wash it often—what a waste of time! With all that time, wouldn’t it be great to read more of God’s words and do a bit more duty?” She even condemns others! This type of person listens to so many of God’s words and listens to sermons for so many years, yet still doesn’t understand what the truth is. They still have many extreme thoughts, and under the guidance of these many extreme thoughts, they exhibit many extreme behaviors, practices, and approaches, then define themselves as the ones who love God the most and are the most loyal. Isn’t this another manifestation of deviance? (Yes.) Going to extremes in everything is deviant. Tell Me, these extreme manifestations don’t harm others, so why do we say they’re deviant? (These manifestations do not conform to the thinking of normal people; they are not behaviors and practices normal people should have.) These extreme manifestations have no relation whatsoever to the thinking and manifestations of normal people; they are detached from reality, detached from the objective, practical lives that normal humanity should have. They adopt a radical approach to various matters, then define these extreme, radical thoughts, views, and behaviors as positive things, while defining the truth as a negative thing. Isn’t this obscurantism, confusing right and wrong? (Yes.) Obscurantism, confusing right and wrong, deceptively substituting concepts—this is deviance. No matter how you fellowship about normal humanity, conscience and reason, the thinking of normal people, or the thoughts and views normal people should have toward various matters, they cannot take it in, and inwardly they simply don’t accept it. Besides not accepting it, they even summarize some absurd and bizarre practices, behaviors, and even thoughts and views that are detached from the track of normal humanity, implement them in themselves, and simultaneously use this as the standard for measuring all people, events, and things, believing that whatever doesn’t conform to their extreme thoughts, views, and behaviors is wrong, while whatever conforms to their extreme thoughts, views, and behaviors is correct and conforms to the truth. Isn’t this obscurantism? Isn’t this confusing right and wrong, isn’t it deceptively substituting concepts? This is another manifestation of deviance in those reincarnated from devils. That is, they never accept positive things, but instead pass non-positive or negative things off as positive things for people to emulate and imitate, thereby achieving the goal of making people distance themselves from God. This is also a kind of extreme behavior.

Those who are devils have another manifestation of deviance: They do not love the truth in the slightest. They like to pursue abnormal, supernatural things, always wanting to summarize a set of absolutely spiritual theories and sayings, even wanting to research the basis of these supernatural matters. They treat these things as truth, as guides, directions, and goals for actions in daily life, using them to face and judge all kinds of people, events, and things. For example, when things don’t go smoothly for them, they recall what dreams they had the previous night, whether any abnormal phenomena occurred around them, or if there were any inauspicious signs, seeking a basis therein to determine their fortune; these are the kinds of things they always pursue. Especially when encountering people with serious illnesses, they consider them inauspicious, believing that contact with such people will drain their own vital energy and bring bad luck. So, after contact with such people, they often look in the mirror to see if their forehead has darkened or if they have an air of misfortune about them. Ordinarily, they are always pondering just what their fortune will be like. Whenever they have an idle moment, they flip through the old almanac or search online for fortune-telling sayings. A dream they had, or a superstitious saying heard from others—they can take all these as a basis for judging whether their fortune is good or bad. Although they believe in God, they never use God’s words as a basis for treating the people, events, and things around them, nor do they use the truth as a basis for treating every event that happens around them. Instead, they always look for some unusual feelings. For example, if they feel a bit unwell while singing one day, they think, “Is God stopping me? Does God not want me to sing?” If they are going out to preach the gospel one day, even though they have clearly arranged the time and place with someone, they still have to pray to grasp the feeling in their spirit. After praying, they wait a few minutes, but feel nothing. Then they look to see if there are any abnormal phenomena with the sun today, or if there are magpies chirping or crows crowing outside, using these to judge what their fortune will be like today, whether going out to preach the gospel will be smooth, and whether they will gain people. If these methods don’t work, they will even toss a coin to decide whether to go or not. If it lands heads up, it means things will go smoothly and they’ll be able to gain people; if it’s tails up, it means things will not go smoothly and they won’t gain people. They base their decision on whether to go out on these things. No matter how long such people believe in God, they never use the truth as their basis or as their principle of practice. Instead, they always rely on those superstitious sayings or abnormal feelings and phenomena to judge people, events, and things, to deal with the various matters that happen around them, or to determine the principles by which they should practice. They always seek these baseless, bizarre, odd, supernatural feelings, and always act and live based on them. Some people, upon seeing a black cat as they go out, believe it represents bad luck, and would rather delay matters than go out. Some might have their car break down on the way to do errands, and they believe that it’s God stopping them, that their luck is bad today, and that they shouldn’t have gone out. Some who see a coffin when going out believe they’ll get lucky with money that day. When doing anything, this type of person always seeks a basis in some sort of superstitious saying; they don’t have accurate principles of practice based on the truth. No matter how others fellowship or how God’s house carries out its work, they never learn to live and work according to the truth principles. If some abnormal phenomenon occasionally occurs at home, like a faucet suddenly breaking and leaking, they suspect it’s a bad omen. If a gust of wind occasionally blows open a window and the glass breaks, they feel, “This gust of wind isn’t normal; it seems like a precursor to disaster. Is God stopping me from going out?” If it snows when they go out, they say, “Look, it snowed as soon as I went out. People often say, ‘Distinguished people attract wind and snow when they go out.’ It seems I’m a distinguished person!” Isn’t this nonsense? They use these strange and absurd sayings as the basis for judging and deciding everything. For example, if the strap of their backpack gets caught on a doorknob when going out, they believe there’s a meaning, a significance to it. They quickly consult the almanac and see that the saying for going out to get things done at this time is: “All matters unfavorable; not suitable for going out.” They ponder, “All matters unfavorable—that means I can’t do anything, I must stay at home. This is God letting me enjoy blessings; it is God’s protection!” They find a basis for this as well. Isn’t this absurd? No matter the situation, they feel there’s some saying for it. Isn’t this bizarre? Everything happening around them is seen as a bizarre phenomenon, and the basis for their handling of these “bizarre phenomena” is all sorts of bizarre sayings. They use these various bizarre sayings to treat everything that happens around them. Therefore, if you live with this type of person, you often feel they are particularly bizarre. They might suddenly say something that makes your heart pound, giving you the creeps. For example, hearing a dog bark late at night is very normal, but to them, it’s a major event. They must search for information, consult divination and fortune-telling, to figure out the meaning behind a dog barking at that hour. What will you feel after interacting and associating with them for a while? You will certainly be frequently disturbed by some absurd sayings. Will you have peace and joy in your heart? (No.) Without peace and joy, you will become ill at ease like them, needing to find a saying for everything. As you search and search, God will disappear from your heart, and you’ll be left with only those superstitious sayings. This means you are being disturbed by wicked spirits, by devils and Satans, disturbed to the point that your thoughts are agitated, your heart has no peace or joy, your thinking is chaotic, and you lose the manifestations of normal humanity. The normal order and patterns of people’s lives are thrown into complete disorder by these chaotic thoughts and chaotic sayings. No matter what happens, this type of person can explain it with some bizarre saying, and ultimately treat it in an absurd, odd way. This is deviance. There are even some people who, after being pruned by a leader, still ponder: “This morning I felt something wasn’t right with my body. When washing my face, I noticed my forehead was dark. Sure enough, I got pruned today. See, there are precursors. So, I must look in the mirror every day whenever I have a free moment. If I find my forehead is dark, I need to be careful—maybe I’ll get pruned, maybe I’ll run up against a wall or be frustrated in something.” When some people go to preach the gospel and see that the potential gospel recipient is a pretty good person with a heart that yearns and seeks, and can accept the truth when it’s fellowshipped, in addition to thanking God, they also ponder: “Yesterday I dreamed I was washing my feet in a spring. That spring represents wealth, and gaining wealth represents gaining someone through preaching the gospel. So, for gaining someone today, I must also thank God; God already gave a sign!” No matter what they encounter or what they feel, they always want to trace the root cause and always need to find a basis. Some people believe the superstitious saying, “Twitching on the left eye forecasts fortune but twitching on the right eye forecasts disaster,” and use this as a basis to judge the things that befall them. They never put effort into the truth, nor do they seek the truth or use the truth as a basis to judge various matters. Their hearts are entirely filled with various bizarre, absurd, odd, and even supernatural sayings, thoughts and views, and heresies and fallacies; they are consumed by these things.

Some people appear quite normal on the outside; their life, work, and interactions with others show no extreme, supernatural, or bizarre manifestations. However, after associating with them for a long time, one discovers that their minds and hearts are entirely filled with all sorts of absurd, odd, and distorted superstitious sayings that originate from evil trends, and they use these sayings as a basis to judge the various matters that happen around them. Even when they recognize that things are under God’s sovereignty, arrangements, and protection, they still seek a superstition-like saying as a basis to explain such matters, interpreting God’s sovereignty and arrangements with superstitious sayings. Isn’t this deviance? (Yes.) After hearing so much truth, how is it that they still cannot understand the truth, cannot view problems with the truth, and cannot say a single thing that conforms to the truth? How can their hearts be devoid of truth, and instead be possessed and filled with those heresies, fallacies, and superstitions? Isn’t this deviance? (Yes.) Some people even say, “You mustn’t step on ants! An ant is a living thing too. If you step on one and kill it, and it returns to the spiritual realm and reports you to the Old Man in the Sky, you will suffer retribution.” “If you kill a fish, and its mouth is open facing you, that means it’s accusing you! You can’t eat that fish; if you eat it, you’ll suffer retribution! Killing chickens, dogs, oxen, pigs—that’s all taking life; you’ll suffer retribution for it!” Where do they get these heresies and fallacies? Don’t they hear them from this wicked mankind? They pick up a saying here and a saying there, accepting all of them, and even treat these sayings as supreme commands, regarding them as highly as God’s will. Some people, after believing in God for several years, still say things like, “You can’t kill chickens. If you kill chickens in this life, you’ll become a chicken in the next life and be killed by someone. So, you can’t take life; you’ll suffer retribution for taking life!” They say this, but when it comes to eating chicken, they themselves can eat a whole one in a single meal. Isn’t this being deviant? Others say, “You can’t wear animal skins. After animals die, their souls can still feel. If you wear animal skins, it’s like draping yourself in the animal’s soul. If this animal died unjustly, it might find you and hound you, and once it starts hounding you, you’ll have no peace.” Tell Me, aren’t these sayings bizarre? (Yes.) Still others, seeing someone else wearing a hairpiece, also have something to say: “The original owner of that wig or hairpiece you have might have died unjustly; their soul is still in the hair. If you wear their hair, their soul will follow you.” All sorts of bizarre, odd, and absurd sayings become things this type of person treasures in the heart; they are their supreme directives. They abide by these absurd and ridiculous sayings as if they were truth, and yet they believe they are following God’s way. Not only do they abide by them themselves, but they also tell others to do so. If others don’t comply, they even use terrifying, hair-raising sayings to threaten and intimidate them, forcing them to comply. Those who don’t understand the truth are intimidated by them. These odd and ridiculous sayings are precisely some baseless rumors and fallacies spread by devils and Satan in the human world. For one thing, they interfere with and control people’s normal thinking and free will; for another, devils and Satan use these heresies and fallacies to possess some people, making these people render service for them in this human world and become their mouthpieces, the implementers of their various odd and bizarre thoughts. Therefore, judging by any manifestation of these bizarre people, their nature essence is wicked. They do not accept the truth in the slightest; they most revere deviant things. This is exactly what the issue is. People who don’t understand the truth lack discernment and are often inadvertently influenced and misled by these bizarre and odd sayings. However, after people understand the truth, they know to determine what they should and shouldn’t do based on the judgment of normal reason and normal thinking, as well as how to act, what to uphold, and what to forsake when things befall them. This is what people with normal humanity should understand and uphold, rather than using these odd and absurd sayings to discern, judge, and decide how to treat people, events, and things. After gaining discernment of this type of bizarre person, do you see their essence clearly? What is their essence? It is one of deviance. They do not honor God as great but honor Satan as great. Even when they want to speak about an aspect of truth, thank God, or accept the environments God arranges, they still search out a bizarre, odd, absurd, or fallacious saying as their basis. For them, these odd and absurd sayings and views are above the truth and above God’s sovereignty. Therefore, the nature essence of this type of person is unquestionably a deviant essence. Because what they live by is the life of Satan, what they exalt, advocate, and admire is not the truth but Satan’s heresies and fallacies. Even if what you see is their personal behavior, the driving force behind these personal behaviors are the various thoughts and views of devils and Satan. Although they appear human on the outside, they are a mouthpiece for, an inheritor of, and a witness for the various heresies and fallacies of devils and Satan. What they bear witness to and advocate are Satan’s heresies and fallacies, not the truth. This is the manifestation of their deviant nature essence.

Tell Me, is it a good thing for a person to be able to see angels? If one can truly see angels, that is of course a good thing. But if that angel is not a true angel but one impersonated by Satan, then seeing it is very dangerous. If Satan impersonates an angel and lets you see it, is this a good thing or a bad thing for you? (A bad thing.) Why do you say it’s a bad thing? Under normal circumstances, can mortal flesh see angels? (No.) Do humans have this faculty? (They do not have this faculty.) To be precise, humans do not have the faculty to see Satan or angels, which are of the spiritual realm. But if you do see them, what’s going on? Doesn’t it mean that the faculty of your flesh has changed somewhat? (Yes.) That’s exactly what it is. When a preternatural phenomenon has occurred with the faculty of the flesh, was it changed by God, by something else, or by yourself? (It was probably changed by something else.) Then would God change it for you? (No, God doesn’t do such work.) While people are alive, would God, in order to make their faith firmer, change their faculties, allowing them to see angels or some things from the spiritual realm? Would God do these things? (No.) We can say with certainty that He would not. Before a person attains salvation, God absolutely will not do these things; this is certain beyond doubt. Then, if the faculty of your flesh suddenly changes and a preternatural phenomenon occurs—and it wasn’t changed by God, nor could you change it yourself—what’s going on? God wouldn’t do such a thing, and you couldn’t change it yourself. The only possibility is that Satan and wicked spirits have been working on you; that is, Satan and wicked spirits have misled and controlled you, producing preternatural abilities in you, allowing you to see things normal people cannot see and hear words normal people cannot hear. This is absolutely not a good thing. If Satan lets you see things others cannot see, what is its purpose? Is it to broaden your horizons, to make you believe in the existence of the spiritual realm, or to give you faith in God? (No.) When Satan does this to you, does it have good intentions or good motives? (No.) Definitely not. Satan uses this preternatural faculty of yours to let you see some things you normally cannot see, thereby enticing you and making you more interested in matters of the spiritual realm. It gives you this little benefit, this little taste, and then lures you into accepting what it will do next. And what will that be? Will Satan bestow truth upon you? Will it supply you with life? No, it will corrode you, destroy the various innate faculties of your flesh, then possess you, snatch you away from God’s side, and make you forsake God. Whether Satan lets a person see angels or any phenomena from the spiritual realm, tell Me, is it a good thing? (No.) If someone can often see things others cannot see, or says they often see angels flying around on their rooftop, and says the angels are fair and clean, and often converse with them, what should you do upon encountering such a person? (Quickly stay away.) You must quickly stay away from such a person; don’t discuss anything with them. If you are interested in this matter and discuss it with them, that’s dangerous. Don’t say to them, “You’re in danger; you can always see things others can’t. You’re being deviant, I won’t associate with you anymore.” You don’t need to say these things; just be aware in your heart—that is enough. Devils and Satan have already targeted them, or this person is naturally a devil; they are not human. Humans cannot associate with devils. There is only one ultimate outcome for humans who associate with devils: being devoured by devils. When you encounter this type of person who experiences preternatural phenomena, no matter what odd or bizarre things they say, you absolutely mustn’t be curious. Quickly stay away from such people; do not observe them, study them, or think of changing them, much less preach the gospel to them and have them believe in God. If you do that, you are too stupid. Even God doesn’t want people like this who are devils; yet you would bring a devil into God’s house and have them do duty. Can this benefit the church’s work? Not only will it bring no benefit, but it will also bring disturbance and disruption to the church’s work. Although you do this with good intentions, God will not remember it and will even condemn you; this is an evil deed. So you must never do such things. Whether it’s someone you are familiar with or not, whether it’s your family, closest relatives, or friends, or brothers and sisters of the church you cooperate with—if they often see someone strolling in their yard or someone always peeking at them through the crack of the door, and they also frequently say they can converse with angels, that they can hear what God says to them, that they already feel they are victorious male children, that they are a firstborn son, someone who’ll be caught up—can you still treat such a person as a brother or sister? (No.) You must be clear in your hearts; do not mistake such people for brothers and sisters, don’t be foolish. If you are foolish and, upon seeing such people, think, “They are overcomers, firstborn sons, people who are perfected; they have the truth, I must get close to them,” then you are not just in danger, you will also be easily misled by them, which would be troublesome. You cannot discern people, cannot see through to their nature essence. Would God do that kind of work? God does not save devils and Satans. The work God does is to supply people with the truth, allowing them, by understanding, practicing, and submitting to the truth, to achieve having the truth as their life, to gain true knowledge and true fear of God, and thereby completely break free from Satan’s influence and attain salvation. God only does such work. Only the truth can save people, not any strange tales, heresies, or fallacies. These heresies and fallacies have no relation whatsoever to the truth; they can only mislead and corrupt people, and absolutely cannot enable people to attain salvation. For people to attain salvation, to achieve submission to God and shunning of evil, the only path is to accept the truth and practice the truth; there is no other path. Don’t try to pass some extreme methods or sayings, or absurd and odd sayings, off as the truth or replace the truth with them to attain salvation. None of these paths work; they are not from God.

Having finished fellowshipping on the manifestations of deviance in those who are reincarnated from devils, let us now fellowship on another one of their manifestations—evilness. The manifestations of evilness have similarities to those of deviance, but there are also differences. Manifestations of deviance do not conform to the thinking, conscience, reason, or instincts of normal humanity, nor do they conform to the various innate conditions of normal humanity ordained by God for created human beings; rather, they exceed these various innate conditions of normal humanity. The overall manifestation is being abnormal, supernatural, extreme, and bizarre. That is to say, people with the reason and conscience of normal humanity find such individuals very strange, both in terms of their manifestations and behaviors as well as their thoughts and viewpoints. You simply cannot fathom why they would think or act that way. Now, through fellowship, you understand. Where does the root lie? It lies in their nature essence and their attribute as devils. These are basically the manifestations of deviance. However, the evilness of devils is not just some outward manifestations commonly seen in people; rather, it directly involves this type of person’s attitude toward the truth, which is even viler and more serious than that found in deviance. The manifestations of evilness are, of course, also characterized by how one treats the truth. Firstly, those who are devils are hostile to the truth; this is the first manifestation of evilness. The second manifestation of evilness is that, in addition to having an attitude of hostility toward the truth, devils also proactively attack it. The third manifestation of evilness is that, in addition to being hostile to and attacking the truth, devils go a step further and want to replace the truth. Their manifestations of evilness will never stop merely at the level of being hostile to and attacking the truth; rather, on the foundation of these two manifestations, they also want to replace the truth—this is their essence. Many of the manifestations of evilness in devils are the same as the manifestations of those with the essence of antichrists, which we have fellowshipped on before, so there’s no need to delve into these aspects. Today, we will mainly dissect these three manifestations of evilness in devils: being hostile to, attacking, and trying to replace the truth.

First, let us fellowship on the manifestation of hostility toward the truth in those who are devils. We have fellowshipped on this topic of hostility toward the truth quite a bit before; this is not your first encounter with such a topic. This manifestation of hostility toward the truth is very evident in those who are devils—it is that they cannot accept any positive thing, anything that is correct and conforms to the conscience and reason of normal humanity. Especially when it is something that involves the truth principles, they are even less able to accept it. Their inability to accept is not simply a matter of them shaking their heads and refusing; rather, they feel revulsion and loathing in their hearts, as well as hatred. How deep is their hatred? If anyone fellowships on the truth specifically and from a practical perspective, they find that person displeasing. It’s not just a little bit of jealousy—it’s hostility. What is hostility? It means treating you as if you’d murdered their father. In fact, you may not have had any sort of deep interactions with them, nor do they necessarily know you, but if you understand the truth and fellowship on the truth, they feel revulsion in their hearts. They don’t feel revulsion toward someone who speaks words and doctrines, but they are vehemently repulsed by anyone who fellowships the truth with them, feeling as if it’s killing them—their hatred reaches this extent. What are their specific manifestations? When others fellowship on the truth principles or God’s intentions, they become averse upon hearing it and cannot sit still. Some find an excuse and leave, while others even get up and walk out without any pretense at all. If it were people with normal humanity, conscience, and reason, even if they didn’t yearn for or approve of correct words—especially those that conform to the truth—at most they would not accept them in their hearts, but they could still sit through it for the sake of avoiding embarrassment. But those who are Satans cannot sit still. As soon as they hear the truth, they feel revulsion and agitation in their hearts, and when the agitation becomes truly unbearable, they make an exit. If they cannot do so, they go online to watch videos, let their minds wander and engage in some distracting actions, change the subject and engage in idle talk, or exalt and testify to their own “glorious” history while belittling and lecturing others. In short, if you fellowship on the truth, they feel revulsion; their attitude toward the truth is one of extreme hostility. If you don’t fellowship on the truth but only fellowship about some administrative or general affairs work, share some anecdotes from preaching the gospel, or chat about external matters, they are able to sit still and chat along with everyone else, appearing quite harmonious. But as soon as the truth is fellowshipped, especially when God’s words are read, their essence and their true face are brought to light. They become agitated, and if they listen even a bit longer, they feel like their heads are about to explode. The more you read God’s words, the more they feel like they’re being tried in court, the more they feel that they will be condemned and eliminated, and that their lives are at risk. The more you read God’s words, the more revulsion and loathing they feel in their hearts, as if they have contracted some disease. Tell Me, isn’t this problem very serious? Is there any helping such people? Especially when it comes to practicing the truth and being an honest person, those who pursue the truth, because they want to be honest, train themselves to speak truthfully and open up and lay themselves bare. When devils hear this, they feel revulsion in their hearts, despise you, and hate you. They feel that you’re base for practicing the truth, while they’re noble—and more honorable and considerable than you—for not practicing the truth. What kind of viewpoint is this? Isn’t this confusing black and white? This is just how those who are hostile to the truth are. If you fellowship on the truth or on some principle of practice, they not only despise you in their hearts but also feel averse to you; they won’t even look you in the eye. If you want to discuss church work with them, they always avoid you; they don’t want to talk to you, and are incapable of communicating on the same wavelength as you. You can chat with them about any topic, except those involving the truth or God’s work of saving man; they don’t want to discuss these topics. For example, if you say to them, “Let’s fellowship on how to do our duty loyally, and discuss what problems still exist in doing our duty at this stage and how to resolve them,” upon hearing this, they feel like their heads are about to explode, they feel extreme revulsion in their hearts, and their eyes might even blaze with fire as they become hostile to you. They are willing to suffer any hardship to be loyal to Satan, but they are particularly repulsed by God and the truth, not accepting the truth in the slightest. No matter who fellowships on the truth with them, they can’t take it in. If you ask them to study knowledge or famous literary works, they are very willing, feeling themselves to be very noble. But when they listen to sermons or others fellowshipping on the truth, it’s as if they are being abused or tried in court. What they are most averse to is reading God’s words and fellowshipping on the truth. Therefore, in their daily lives, while they will do some general affairs work and things that benefit their status, reputation, and prospects of gaining blessings, such people never read God’s words or engage in spiritual devotion. They also don’t fellowship on the truth during gatherings and never share their personal experiential knowledge; their attendance at gatherings is merely a formality. If you ask them to fellowship on their knowledge of God’s words or the truth, they can’t utter a single word and feel revulsion in their hearts, thinking, “Fellowshipping on God’s words and the truth is something for housewives and people from the lower rungs of society. How could a great figure like me do such things? I am someone who does great things and great work, someone who will receive great blessings. When I enter the kingdom, I will be a pillar and a mainstay in God’s kingdom. I am the one who shoulders great responsibilities. Who do you think you are? It debases me to even attend gatherings in the same church as you!” Look how insolent they are! Their hostility toward the truth is hostility toward all people, events, and things related to the truth, as well as practices and sayings related to the truth; it is even hostility toward positive things. For example, if you mention that brothers and sisters in the church should have saintly decorum, that interactions between the sexes—whether at work or in daily life—should abide by certain boundaries, that everyone should be dignified and decent, not engage in reckless flirting, and respect relationships between men and women and respect marriage, that one must practice in this regard according to God’s words, and that God’s house does not advocate sexual liberation, what will they think upon hearing this? “That’s an outdated saying, a cliché. What era are we in now, still talking about saintly decorum and boundaries between men and women! In the past, emperors in their palaces had entire harems to themselves—how grand that was! If I had the ability and the means, even if I couldn’t have a harem, I’d at least have a handful of women to hook up with!” They never accept any positive thing, any correct saying, especially the words of the truth, and are even considerably repulsed by and hate them. Therefore, on the foundation of their hostility toward the truth, these people constantly attack the truth and positive things. No matter what aspect of the truth or what specific requirement of God is fellowshipped, they always have a set of heresies and fallacies with which to criticize and judge it. This criticism and judgment—is it not an attack? (Yes.) No matter how many people accept the truth and positive things, they never will. They believe that what God’s house advocates and what the truth requires people to practice are all slogans and formalities, and that what truly meets human needs are worldly trends; whatever worldly trends advocate now, that is the highest truth. Isn’t this revering wickedness? So, no matter what aspect of the truth you fellowship on, they are subjectively hostile to it, and will even go a step further to judge, attack, and blaspheme it. For example, God requires people to be honest. How do they define being an honest person? “Being an honest person is for fools; only fools practice being honest people. Only fools tell others what they think in their hearts, their private affairs. Only fools speak truthfully. Only fools entrust their destiny to others to control. I’m no fool; my destiny is in my own hands, and others have no right to interfere! Whether I want to say what I think in my heart or not, others have no right to interfere. If it’s not something I want to tell people, don’t even dream of knowing what it is!” Isn’t this being averse to the truth, hating the truth? (Yes.) This type of devil does not accept the truth and does not practice it. In addition to being hostile to and attacking the truth, they take it a step further and use various satanic toxins and viewpoints and practices from Satan to replace the truth. For example, they use schemes, lies, various means, or the facade of enduring hardship and paying a price to mislead others, as conditions for gaining blessings and bargaining with God. They think that in believing in God, one doesn’t need to be an honest person, doesn’t need to be loyal to their duty, and doesn’t need to accept and practice the truth; as long as one endures hardship more, pays a greater price, does more work, performs more good deeds and accumulates merit, does more things that earn people’s approval and high esteem, and through these means gains the trust of the brothers and sisters, as well as their exaltation and support, then they can achieve the goal of exchanging all this for the blessings of the heavenly kingdom. Isn’t this viewpoint incredibly absurd? (Yes.)

Whether it’s judging and condemning the truth, being hostile to and attacking the truth, or always wanting to use Satan’s heresies and fallacies to replace the truth, these are all specific manifestations of how devils treat the truth. Regardless of which manifestations they are, they all fully expose the essence of the evilness of devils. Being hostile to the truth, attacking the truth, and trying to replace the truth—these are acts only devils can commit. Only devils treat the truth and God with such hatred, judgment, and condemnation, and are capable of stooping to any means to mislead, deceive, and entice people away from the truth and away from God. Only devils will think of every which way to fraudulently win people’s trust, support, and praise, to achieve their goal of buying people’s hearts and controlling them, with the aim of replacing God’s place in their hearts. In short, the attitude devils adopt toward the truth and toward those who pursue the truth exposes that their essence is evil. Positive things and the truth are what all created human beings yearn for and love, and they are also worthy of being cherished by people. Of course, they are also what created human beings need most. This is the case because the truth is an essential thing for mankind to break free from Satan’s influence, walk the right path, and be able to fear God and shun evil. For normal people to attain salvation, pursuing the truth, accepting the truth, and practicing the truth is a necessary process; there is no other way. Even if it’s difficult for them to accept and practice the truth because they have corrupt dispositions, from the perspective of their innermost being and their subjective will, they are not hostile to the truth; their subjective attitude is not one that will be hostile to the truth, nor do they intentionally attack the truth or think of every which way to use any heresies and fallacies to replace the truth. Only Satan can do this; its essence of hostility toward the truth is the same as that of the great red dragon. Whatever is a positive thing, whatever involves the truth, Satan denies, condemns, and spurns. Even if these truths pose no threat to it, it is still hostile to and hates them; this is dictated by its nature. Because devils have an evil nature, the truth, to them, is their enemy. What does “enemy” mean? It means they can never be compatible, never be friends, never be like-minded companions. Just like the great red dragon, it is treats those who believe in God with particular hatred and hostility. As long as you stop believing in God and insult God, you can commit any evil in society—it doesn’t care if you steal, rob, or engage in licentious activities; you can collude with it and do any bad thing. But if you believe in God and walk the right path, it will not allow it; it will arrest you, persecute you, and even put you to death. It simply cannot let you exist. Your existence is a thorn in its side; every day you exist, it feels distressed and uneasy inside. Only when it has destroyed you, when you cease to exist, does it feel victorious, at ease, and at peace. The attitude of those who are devils toward the truth is the same in nature as the great red dragon’s hatred of the truth. If you pursue the truth, practice the truth, do everything according to principles, have a stance, and uphold principles, they will find you displeasing and hate you. If they become leaders and gain power, they will think of every which way to find leverage to torment you, and even frame you for some offense to clear you out. When those who pursue the truth are all excluded by them, and those remaining in the church are all muddleheaded people who do not understand the truth in the slightest, they feel safe; there’s nothing to threaten them, and their days are easy. Therefore, those who are devils are not only hostile to the truth but also hostile to those who love and pursue the truth. Doesn’t this show they have an evil nature? (Yes.) Some people, after being condemned, excluded, and tormented by devils, say, “I didn’t offend them, why do they find me displeasing?” Isn’t this muddled talk? Isn’t this failing to see through things and being unable to discern people? Does the great red dragon arrest and persecute Christians because Christians violate laws and commit crimes? Or because Christians participate in political activities to subvert it and seize its political power? (Neither.) Then why do they? We don’t participate in politics, nor oppose or expose it, much less engage in political activities to seize its power. Then why does it suppress and arrest those who believe in God in this way? It’s simply because you follow God, accept the truth, and honor God as great and worship Him that it hates you. It believes you have betrayed it; you do not follow, worship, and submit to it, so it hates you. Thus, it wants to suppress and eliminate you, to achieve the goal of making you disappear. Simply because it is an evil demon, and it has a nature essence that is hostile to the truth, if you follow God, it will be hostile to you, it will hate you, and it will think of every which way to torment you, eliminate you, and snatch you away from God’s side. This is its aim. If you stop following God, it will not be so hostile to you. Of course, it will still want to ruin, corrupt, toy with, and control you. If you can worship and follow it, then it will be pleased and will not torment you, but in the end, you can only be buried along with it. No one who worships Satan ever comes to a good end!

Satan’s nature of resisting God will never change. Why are those of Satan who are antichrists, so hostile to the truth and to God? Tell Me, just how evil is their nature essence! They do not accept the truth, God’s work, any positive things, or correct sayings and practices, without exception. Not only do they feel revulsion in their hearts and refuse to accept these things, but they also actively do evil to resist God, and they spread baseless rumors and fallacies to condemn the truth and positive things. Evil people like this also want to believe in God and gain blessings. They worm their way into God’s house, but because they do not accept the truth in the slightest, they are revealed and eliminated. For example, accepting pruning is a positive thing, and when normal people do wrong and are pruned, they reflect on themselves. If their wrongdoing was due to wrong intentions or a corrupt disposition, they will seek the truth to resolve it. If their wrongdoings came about because their caliber is poor and they didn’t see things clearly, they will also proactively seek a path to resolve this, and they will find people with good caliber who understand the truth to help and guide them. In short, under the guidance and regulation of their conscience and reason, they will accept their pruning correctly. But how do those who are devils treat being pruned? Devils themselves are hostile to the truth, but with their wicked nature, they absolutely will not stop merely at hostility. They also condemn, resist, and blaspheme the truth. So when they are pruned, they vigorously try to refute the charges and defend themselves. Not only do they deny the truth, but they also attack and condemn those who prune them, and go around saying things like: “Believing in God is too hard! Those of us with poor caliber who don’t understand the truth are just going to end up getting kicked out. It’s not easy trying to live off God’s house! People with poor caliber have no way forward, and we’ve got no choice but to be tormented by others. No matter how others mess with us, we just have to endure it. Who can we blame but our own poor caliber? If your caliber is poor, you’re inferior to others!” Not only do they not accept pruning or reflect on and know themselves, but they also do not seek principles of practice or a path of practice to resolve this problem. If their caliber is indeed poor, then how can they, on the foundation of their inherent conditions, do their duty to the best of their ability and offer their loyalty? Would they think this way? They are hostile to the truth and they absolutely would not think this way. What’s more, they will crank things up a notch and engage in judgment and slander, even secretly cursing in their hearts those who prune them: “Hmph! You’ve made me uncomfortable today. One day I’ll show you what’s what! You think my caliber is poor? I’ve believed in God for many years, while you’ve only believed for a few! You find me displeasing? One day I’ll make you suffer the consequences and die a terrible death!” You see, when they’re pruned, although they say nothing and even wear a smile, their hearts are brimming with resentment, hatred, and curses. Some people show their unwillingness to accept being pruned, from time to time uttering words of complaint, attack, or judgment. Not only are they hostile to pruning, but they also take the initiative to attack those who prune them, endlessly harassing whoever does so. Some women may be somewhat dainty and seem quite gentle, but when someone truly prunes them, they fly into a rage: “You wretch! I’ve suffered so much believing in God for all these years—do you think it’s been easy? You find me displeasing—well, I was preaching the gospel back before you were even born! Are you trying to bully me just because I’m older? Let me tell you right now, that’s not happening! Go ask around—who have I ever yielded to in my entire life?” Can people with this kind of disposition accept the truth? Definitely not. Not only do they not accept being pruned, but they also curse those who prune them. Aren’t they too malicious? People who are devils and Satans are devious, slippery, treacherous, and cunning. Since their attitude toward the truth is one of hostility and aggression, when their evil deeds are exposed and they face being cleared out or expelled with no hope of gaining blessings, they absolutely will not be so well-behaved or docile, but will employ underhanded means to resist. Some fabricate lies, saying leaders and workers are tormenting them, inciting others to come to their defense, deliberately disturbing the church’s work. Others feign submission, saying, “No matter how God’s house treats me, even if I’m sent to a B group or cleared out, I’ll still do my duty the all same. I am loyal to God, and I’ll never ever deny this way or give up my duty.” They present a facade to dupe people, making it seem as if they have repented, as if they can accept and submit no matter how God’s house treats them and will not give up their duty. In fact, they are deceiving and toying with you. They think to themselves: “Hmph! Still want to use me to render service? Fat chance! When I express my resolve to you and say I’m willing to do my duty, that’s just a formality! I’m just fooling you!” They appear very docile and obedient, making people think they are willing to do their duty, but when you actually arrange for them to do their duty, they are perfunctory, employ trickery and deceive you, and even put on disappearing acts with you. It might be more than ten days since they’ve been assigned a task, and there’ll still be no progress at all. Some people are foolish and lack discernment, and they’ll find this perplexing, thinking: “They were so earnest when they agreed to do it, and they said they were willing to do their duty. It didn’t seem like they were lying. How come they’re nowhere to be found now?” Let Me tell you the truth: They are just big liars, they are devils. What do those who are devils regard their performance of their duties to be? They regard it as God’s house using them to render service, as toying with them. This is the mentality of those who are devils toward their performance of their duty. What is there about you worth being used? At most, you understand a bit about a certain profession. If God’s house has a need in this area, at best it means you are suited to do this duty. Using the matter of doing duty to measure you and make demands of you is an exaltation of you. If you refuse and do not accept, then you are failing to appreciate kindness. This is just how impervious to reason those who are devils are. They ask to do a duty, and when the church arranges work for them, they presume that it’s God’s house that wants to use them. If you are truly of some value to the church, is this fortunate or unfortunate for you? (Fortunate.) Is it a misfortune or a blessing for you? (A blessing.) Why do you say it’s a blessing? (Being able to render service for God is God’s exaltation, so it’s a blessing.) You must understand this: Rendering service for God is God’s exaltation. What does exaltation mean? It means you have this little bit of professional strength that can be put to use in the work of God’s house. This is an opportunity given to you by God. God has given you an opportunity to render service for Him, an opportunity to attain salvation. This is a basic condition for you to be blessed. Only when you possess this basic condition can you have the opportunity to accept the truth and practice the truth step by step, and attain salvation. If you have no redeeming qualities at all, then in God’s house you are a good-for-nothing. Would God’s house still provide for you for free? If there is no duty for you to do in God’s house, then you lack a proper and reasonable vehicle and basic condition for maintaining a normal relationship with God. If you cannot be put to use in any specific work in God’s house, it means you have not established any relationship with God, and thus you have no opportunity to come before God, no opportunity to accept any step or any period of the work God does to save mankind. Then do you still have the opportunity and conditions to attain salvation? Therefore, if it is said that you have value to be used, this might sound uncomfortable in the nonbelieving world, and perhaps “use” is a negative term there—but in God’s house, you have to look at who is using you. How should this “use” be interpreted? If God uses you, it proves that you still have some value and can still render service for God. When you render service for God, isn’t this God exalting you? (Yes.) This is God giving people an opportunity, God exalting people. This is a good thing; it proves that God thinks highly of you and is still willing to give you a chance. So, is being used by God shameful? Is it a loss? Do you suffer a loss in being used? Does it make you lose your integrity or dignity? No, you gain much more. It gives you the opportunity to come before God to accept the truth and God’s salvation. You don’t suffer any loss at all; you gain a great advantage. But those reincarnated from devils do not see it this way. They have an evil nature. They have no objection to how Satan uses and corrupts them; they are quite satisfied with it. If government officials use them, they consider it fortunate, a sign of prosperity. They do not discern, oppose, resist, or refuse it. But in the church, if they are promoted to do a duty, they feel it is rendering service, working themselves to the bone, that the church is using them. For example, a certain woman understands a bit about a certain professional skill, so the church arranges for her to do work in this area. Not only can she not accept it from God, but she also feels particularly repulsed in her heart: “Trying to use me? Think again! I’m not that stupid! I’ve lived this long and never been used by anyone. The person who could use me hasn’t even been born yet!” You don’t need to be so exasperated. If you are willing to do your duty, then accept it from God and do your duty well. If you are unwilling to do your duty, then leave God’s house. The gates of God’s house are open; you can leave at any time and go wherever you want. God bestows the truth upon people freely. God’s bestowal of truth and His supply of life to people are all free of charge. Has He asked you for a single penny? (No.) You do a little duty and yet you perceive it as being used by God. Isn’t this lacking conscience, failing to appreciate kindness? So what if God uses you? Is that wrong? Your very life was given by God. Is God not worthy of using you? Is He not qualified? Can you act high and mighty just because you understand a bit about a profession? Does God have to be obsequious, respectfully begging you, promising you things, holding you up and placing you on a throne—would that make you happy? People without normal humanity cannot correctly treat the matter of doing duty. They always say, “God’s house is using me. I’m not that foolish; only fools are willing to be used by God!” You see, this thought is both vile and evil, and utterly unreasonable! How should such people be treated? It’s easy: Whether it’s clearing them out or assigning them to a B group, just cleanse them away. If you’re so afraid of being used, why do you still hang about in God’s house and say you want to do a duty? Isn’t this being hypocritical and deceiving people? If you’re afraid of being used, God’s house will never use you to do a duty; God’s house does not force things on people. Now is the time when each is sorted according to their kind. Whoever is willing to do their duty will remain; whoever is unwilling to do their duty should quickly leave the church and never return. God’s house does not compel anyone. Only those who willingly do their duty are God’s chosen people. Those who are unwilling to do their duty are all servants of Satan, here to disturb the church’s work. Some people want to do their duty to gain blessings, but at the same time, want to avoid being used. Are these people with conscience and reason? (No.) They are always afraid of suffering losses, always feeling that God’s house is taking advantage of them, that they are suffering a great loss. Isn’t this failing to recognize what’s good for them? What loss have you suffered? If you try to exchange your technical skills for the truth and for salvation, I say you cannot make that exchange; you are not worthy, you are not qualified. God’s words are life; they are the most powerful weapon for mankind to cast off corrupt dispositions and break free from Satan’s influence. Only God’s words, only the truth, can eradicate the old mankind which possesses the nature essence of Satan. Only God’s life, only the truth, can allow this mankind to continue to survive and end Satan’s destiny. God’s life and the truth are priceless treasures; no material thing in the world, nothing anyone considers precious, can be exchanged for them. Even if people offer their lives, they cannot be exchanged for them, much less can their meager technical skills. The truth is not for sale; God’s house does not sell the truth, does not sell life. So just what can people do to gain life? Only by accepting the truth, submitting to the truth, offering their loyalty and sincerity to God, and fulfilling the duty of a created being, can they gain life.

People with the wicked essence of Satan have particularly malicious dispositions. Not only are they hostile to the truth and attack the truth, but they also want to use their own heresies and fallacies to replace the truth. Their main manifestation is that they hate and attack whoever prunes or exposes them, and hold a grudge against them. This disposition essence is too evil, more vicious than any ferocious animal. Although tigers and lions have ferocious dispositions, when they are not hungry or when you pose no threat to them, they ignore you and do not want to harm you. Devils, however, are different. Even if you ignore them, as long as you pose a threat to their status, they will not let you go; they will take the initiative to attack you—how much more so will they do this if you expose and prune them. Not only do they never accept being pruned, but they also refuse to listen to any correct sayings or suggestions. Instead, they think of every which way to counterattack the other party to turn defeat into victory, gaining the upper hand in every struggle and contest, turning passivity into proactivity. Suppose you see someone in the church who doesn’t follow the rules, is not bound by any constraints, cannot brook being told off or instigated by anyone, doesn’t accept it when anyone fellowships on the truth, resists and argues when pruned, and hates and attacks whoever exposes them—this is a devil. Some people make a few mistakes in their work, and before others even criticize or expose them for anything, they preemptively strike, thinking of every which way to come up with reasons to justify and defend themselves, saying that there are reasons and explanations for their poor work, that someone sabotaged it, trying every means to shift the responsibility onto others and clear their own name. They are particularly sensitive whenever anyone fellowships on and dissects their own corrupt disposition, believing it’s actually about them, and they think of every which way to protect their ego and cover up their mistakes, even judging and condemning those who fellowship on the truth. Such people will absolutely never admit their mistakes or reflect on themselves, much less repent. Instead, they think of every which way to disguise themselves, to be perfect people in others’ eyes, flawless individuals, people who others see as never making mistakes. Whether they say a phrase wrong, use a wrong term, or have some deviations or flaws in their work, or expose some corrupt dispositions and intentions that get discovered by others, they feel it’s a bad omen, as if something terrible is about to happen, their life is at stake, or the world is ending. They then think of every which way to justify and defend themselves; this is their instinctive reaction. They even create some facades, saying things that conform to people’s notions and imaginings, words that win people’s hearts, to dupe those around them. They are particularly afraid of people knowing their true colors, their defects and flaws, and particularly afraid of their true situation being exposed. They never admit that their caliber is poor or that they have problems with their humanity, and of course, even less do they admit the mistakes they’ve made or the corrupt dispositions they’ve revealed. They keep themselves tightly wrapped up, making sure they don’t let anything slip. Their goal is to protect their status and reputation, to forever maintain a glorious, flawless image in people’s hearts, making people think their humanity has no defects, that they love and pursue the truth, can practice the truth, can endure hardship and pay a price, and have no corrupt dispositions whatsoever. Such people are devils, not humans. Devils simply do not accept the truth, and even think of every which way to disguise themselves as the very embodiment of truth, the spokesperson of a perfect image. This is both deviant and evil, right? No matter how many years they believe in God, they always present themselves as perfect people, free of defects. Even if they have negativity, weakness, or notions, they never dare to expose them, just keeping them wrapped up. Once someone exposes them, they hate that person and think of every which way to torment them, while simultaneously using various methods and means to restore their image. For example, some people always defend themselves, speaking some misleading devilish words, and intentionally confusing black and white and confounding right and wrong, to mislead some people who lack discernment, thereby changing people’s perception of them and making people re-evaluate their characterization. Such people are bona fide devils, without a shred of humanity. No matter how well devils can perform, no matter what their viewpoints on various matters are, in short, because they have an evil nature, they are capable of being hostile to the truth. That is, from the depths of their hearts, they never accept the truth or positive things. They don’t listen to God’s words or accept God’s words; their nature essence is to hate God. Whatever God says, they feel revulsion. Perhaps you can’t discover their revulsion; outwardly, they also attend gatherings and read God’s words, and don’t show an attitude of hostility toward every truth. But when something happens that doesn’t conform to their notions or involves their interests, they will judge God, God’s house, and the truth, judge and attack those who pursue the truth, and judge any positive thing—they will expose their evil nature. At this time, you will discover that their claim of being willing to accept the truth is all a facade; deep in their hearts, they loathe and are repulsed by the truth, and do not accept it in the slightest. But because they are good at disguising themselves, they deceive some people, just like the Pharisees.

Those who are reincarnated from devils have nothing but hostility, judgement, and attacks for the truth; with such a mentality, it is impossible for them to accept the truth. When it comes to the work arrangements of God’s house, they just give them a cursory reading out loud so that others hear them and then consider it done. When it comes time to do actual work, they do not practice according to the principles required in the work arrangements whatsoever, but rather act according to their own will, their notions and imaginings. They will even only implement those work arrangements that are beneficial to their status and reputation; if it is of no benefit to their fame, gain, and status, they will not implement it, even if they have the caliber to do so. Why is this? Because once the work arrangements are implemented, people will know that God’s house did this and will only thank God, not them; people will feel that God loves man and will not feel that those reincarnated from devils have any merit, which means they will not gain reputation, status, or any benefits. This is one reason. Another reason is that because devils have a nature that is hostile to the truth, they will not do anything according to the truth principles, but rather according to their own ambitions, desires, and instincts. What are Satan’s instincts? To do evil and resist God, to disrupt God’s work, and to make people distance themselves from God, betray God, and worship it instead. Satan’s purpose in coming to the church is to disturb and demolish the church’s work. It will do whatever can bring chaos and disturbance to the church’s work. Even if it brings no benefit to its status or reputation, as long as it disrupts, disturbs, and damages the church’s work, it has achieved its goal. For example, God’s house requires churches in all localities to accurately and truthfully report the number of people gained through preaching the gospel each month. Can they do this in a way that is free of guile? No, they will think of every which way to deceive and report false numbers, reporting an extra hundred people this month, an extra two hundred next month, and if no one discovers it, they will report another several hundred more. They never practice according to work arrangements, and no matter what problems they encounter they do not seek the truth principles. They have no moral boundaries in how they conduct themselves or act; they are devils. No matter how the truth is fellowshipped, they do not accept it. Their conscience is devoid of feeling; they are conscienceless creatures. The work arrangements of God’s house stipulate the principles for distributing books of God’s words—who should receive them and who should not. Can they act according to these principles? (No.) Other work arrangements stipulate how many people are needed to establish a church, how many churches form a district, how many districts can form a region, and what the conditions and principles are for establishing leaders at all levels. Can they practice according to these principles? (No.) They will not do any work that is beneficial to the work of God’s house or to the life entry of the brothers and sisters. They think to themselves, “If I do the work well for you, and the brothers and sisters all grow in life and gain discernment of me, would I still be able to maintain my footing and keep my status then? I certainly won’t tire myself out for you! I’ll just do things haphazardly. God’s house requires fifty people to form a church, but I’ll insist on eighty or ninety. As for how church leaders are elected, that depends on what practice benefits me. If the elected church leader is not to my liking, then I’ll appoint someone who can listen to me and obey me to be the leader.” With them working this way, can normal church life come about? It will take forever. Without a normal church life, then, can the brothers and sisters quickly grow in life entry? Can new believers quickly establish a foundation? (No.) That is to say, any work that is beneficial to the life entry of the brothers and sisters, these false leaders and antichrists who are devils will not do. You see them busying themselves quite energetically, but what are they doing? They are only doing things for their own fame, gain, and status. They do whatever they want as long as it benefits them, giving themselves total carte blanche. Whatever ambitions and desires they have, they will realize them to the fullest extent when they secure power; they will absolutely not miss this opportunity. As for the church life, the life entry of the brothers and sisters, the order of the church, the gospel work of God’s house, and whether various tasks are progressing or progressing smoothly—none of these are their concern. For example, if they are told how a certain church should distribute books and to whom, they ponder, “Surely there’s no need to be so strict. I’ll just distribute them however and that’s it.” When asked if the place where the church stores books is safe, they say, “Who cares if it’s safe or not? At any rate, we’ve got a place to store the books, so it’s fine.” You see, this is them having countermeasures to the policies from the higher-ups. They do not implement any of the work arrangements or specific principles of practice from God’s house; instead, they act according to their own ideas and methods. Isn’t this trying to supplant the truth with their own practices? If God’s chosen people fall into the hands of such devils, they will suffer—the devils will do whatever they want, and everyone will have to do what they say, as though they were bandit overlords or local tyrants; they will be like masters, venerable emperors. It will be impossible for God’s chosen people to have a normal church life, impossible for them to quickly establish a foundation in the true way, and impossible for them to quickly make progress in various truths. The devils won’t do a single good thing. Wherever a church experiences disturbances from evil people and antichrists, and a state of chaos emerges, it proves that the leaders of that church are incapable of doing actual work and are mere figureheads. The brothers and sisters who are new in the faith are misled by antichrists before they have even established a foundation, and the church life also descends into chaos. This is all caused by false leaders not doing actual work. Could it be that false leaders don’t have time to do actual work? (No.) If they wanted to do this essential work, they would have more than enough time, but they simply don’t do it. This exposes the evil nature of devils. They fear nothing more than the church not being in disorder, wishing it would be engulfed in chaos, yearning for the church’s work to be in a state of chaos and stagnation, hoping all church members would bow down to evil people and antichrists, not considering it good until everyone is misled by antichrists, evil people, and devils into not following God. This would be exactly what they want, they would be happy and satisfied. When brothers and sisters have a normal church life, can normally eat and drink God’s words and fellowship on the truth, and can gain something every time they participate in church life, they feel uncomfortable. Because if people are always gaining something and they’re gradually growing in life, they will gain discernment of them and reject them, and they’ll lose their status, which is an outcome they do not want to see. They feel that the more chaotic the church is, the more opportunities they have to display their talents, the more room they have to put their talents into play, and the more they can be in their element and seek victory in chaos. This is truly the scheme of a devil! No truth principle and no specific work arrangement can be implemented where devils are present. Brothers and sisters don’t see the work arrangements and have no path in doing their duty. When chaos arises in the church, these false leaders and antichrists who are devils simply don’t resolve it, and even secretly rejoice, even thinking of every which way to create some trouble, and then appointing another devil or antichrist as a leader—causing the church to become even more chaotic like this makes them even happier. Isn’t this the same as how the great red dragon does things? The great red dragon doesn’t allow people to believe in God, follow God, or do their duty; it only allows people to listen to the Party and follow the Party. They can eat, drink, make merry, and commit any sin; no matter what sin they commit, it doesn’t restrict them. There are many local ruffians, hooligans, and prostitutes in society; people live in sin and indulge in the pleasures of sin, no one cares about major national affairs, and no one investigates how much evil the CCP has done behind the scenes. This is called diverting attention. Over its many years of ruling China, the most effective tactic for the great red dragon has been to introduce various evil trends and evil thoughts and viewpoints from various countries into China. After this, Chinese people are completely liberated in terms of sex, their minds are open, and their talk about sex is also open. They think about these things all day long. What has the life of the common people become? It revolves around food and sex, their base desires. The common people are all trapped in such a vicious cycle, so they relax their vigilance toward politics and the rulership, have no sensitivity, and don’t care anymore. Like opium addicts, their willpower wanes. Men no longer have the ambition to pursue careers, and women no longer have the desire to be good wives and loving mothers. People don’t walk the right path or attend to proper tasks. No one participates in politics, and everyone is completely subservient to the great red dragon. In this way, the great red dragon’s political power is consolidated, because such people are easy to rule. What does “easy to rule” mean? It means that no matter how the great red dragon oppresses the common people, they have no objections and have to endure it. Isn’t this precisely the effect that’s been achieved now? (Yes.) Look at Chinese movies or online videos; eighty to ninety percent of them are about sexual desire or relationships between men and women. This has a terrible impact on people; it doesn’t protect children and minors. Westerners have strict regulations in this regard; they protect children and minors and have preventive measures in place for them. Chinese youths today grow up in such a social environment. At a very young age, their minds are crammed with things like affection, love, sex, and marriage. It’s terrifying! If mankind lives in such a societal context, and through the conditioning and education of the social environment, mankind’s normal physiological needs are corrupted by Satan to a degenerate degree, then people’s hearts will be wicked and degenerate. One manifestation of wickedness and degeneracy is that people have no sense of shame in this regard, or their standard for the sense of shame in this regard is lowered. Some people, because they have conscience and reason, have a line in their hearts that they will not cross; this is the little sense of shame that their meager conscience and reason can achieve. But after these people believe in God, they still carry the shadows and imprints of growing up in that societal context. To this day, some are gradually shedding them, while others are still living in that shadow and haven’t emerged from it. People who grow up in that kind of social environment and background have had their pursuit of positive things, their sense of justice, and their resolve, determination, or yearning to walk the right path ravaged to a certain extent. What does “ravaged” mean? It means that having been conditioned and educated by such a social environment, these people’s determination, perseverance, and willpower to yearn for positive things and pursue light and justice are very weak; they cannot withstand any hardships, any setbacks, or any defeats. It’s like people who have smoked opium; even if they quit, the harm of the drug doesn’t stop there. When they encounter setbacks, failures, discouragement, or negativity, they might relapse and use opium again to numb their minds and avoid the various difficulties in life. That is, it’s impossible for them to quit their drug addiction once and for all; they will relapse midway, return to their old ways, and use the same methods to solve various problems in life. These people who grew up in such a social environment and background have had their willpower to yearn for positive things and for light repeatedly ravaged by Satan, so these people’s willpower in their pursuit of God and the truth is very fragile. What does “very fragile” mean? It means that some people, although they follow God, can still be influenced by social trends in views on love and happiness and by various sayings of evil trends, even being bound and shackled by these things. From time to time, they want to find a partner, want to live married life, a world of two, and return to the evil trends of the world to indulge in sexual desire. These people are very easily permeated or controlled by those evil thoughts and viewpoints again. Especially when people see some movies involving love and marriage, their hearts grow weak, they envy nonbelievers living in marital love and enjoying life, and they lose the heart to pursue the truth and do their duty. This is a very frightening thing. From these actual situations, it can be seen that every person, although they may have gone through countless hardships to follow God to this day, is still not safe. Perhaps you feel you have already exerted all your strength in pursuing the truth, in accepting the truth and practicing the truth, but the repercussions of Satan’s ravages on man have still not been eradicated in you, so you are still in great danger.

Let’s continue fellowshipping on the evil manifestations of devils. The evil manifestations of devils are too numerous; you could say they’re ubiquitous—you’ll find them in any group of people. We primarily measure the various evil manifestations of devils according to the truth to characterize their evil essence. This is the most accurate way. Based on the various attitudes devils have toward the truth—being hostile to it, attacking it, and seeking to supplant it—the nature essence of this type of person is an evil essence, the essence of a devil. They will never change, because they never accept the truth and never regard the truth as a positive thing. Why do they not regard the truth as a positive thing? Because they have no humanity; they are devils. They cannot accept the truth; they have no faculty for accepting the truth, nor do they have any need to accept the truth. What, then, is their need? It is to do wicked things, things that are hostile to God and the truth, things that attack and supplant the truth. This is their mission, and it is also dictated by their nature essence. Therefore, in the end, such people can only be cleared out of the church. God’s house has no place for them, nor any duty for them to do. It has no need for them whatsoever. Those who sincerely do their duty in God’s house, regardless of whether they love the truth or not, are at the very least subjectively willing to accept the truth, are not hostile to the truth, will never deny the truth, and will never judge, attack, or blaspheme God. Of course, they will also not intentionally utter any statements or engage in any behaviors or practices that supplant the truth. The evil manifestations of Satan and devils—being hostile to the truth, attacking the truth, and supplanting the truth—are sufficient to prove that Satan has an evil essence; they cannot remain in the church. As God’s chosen people increasingly understand the truth, and as most people gain discernment of various kinds of people who are averse to and hostile to the truth, the nature essence of those who are devils is increasingly clearly exposed, and increasingly clearly and accurately recognized and discerned by people. Therefore, these people become increasingly rejected by others, and increasingly unable to get along amicably and cooperate harmoniously with others. Ultimately, then, they can only be gradually eliminated. Are you willing to see such people eliminated? (Yes.) Their gradual elimination is a good thing. For one thing, it proves that most of God’s chosen people have grown in stature and gained discernment of those who are devils, no longer regarding them as believers in God or as brothers and sisters. For another, the things done by those who are devils are increasingly exposed, laying their nature essence bare. Everyone sees that these people are not even qualified to render service; they only cause disturbances and disruptions in the church and have no positive effect. Once they are eliminated and cleared out, the church’s work progresses normally. Those who are devils have no humanity; they are worse than beasts. Some beasts know to listen to their masters, work diligently, and don’t cause trouble for their masters. Beasts have some reason, but devils cannot achieve this. If you use them to do a duty, you still have to arrange for some people to supervise them. If they could render service dutifully, that would be acceptable, but they will not render service properly. Even if you supervise them, there will always be times when you can’t watch them. If you take your eyes off them for a moment or overlook one thing, devils will exploit the loophole and cause chaos and trouble for the church’s work. You use several people to watch over them, and in the end, you still need several people to clean up the mess they create. You will feel that using them to do a duty causes too great a loss, that it’s not worth it, that using them is too troublesome and infuriating. You’ll see that they do things just like beasts; they can never do what normal people can do. Finally, you’ll see through them: Such people are beasts, they are devils; they will never change. Beasts and devils will never accept the truth. Once you finally perceive this matter clearly, you’ll ultimately decide to never use devils again, and they’ll be cleared out. Can beasts and devils become humans? This is impossible. Getting the great red dragon to put down the butcher’s knife is impossible; its nature is that of a devil—it kills people without batting an eye. Devils and Satan are of the same cohort. How you view the great red dragon is how you should view these beasts and devils; this is correct. If you view devils differently from how you view Satan and the great red dragon, this proves that you still do not have a thorough understanding of the essence of devils; if you still treat them as humans, believe that they have humanity, have some commendable qualities, and can still be redeemed, and you still give them chances, then you are foolish, you have fallen for their ruse again, and you will have to pay the price for this.
