260  I Wish to Offer True Love to God

In my many years of faith, I have always expended myself for God.

I would put my life on the line, to follow God to the very end.

God’s words and exhortations are imprinted on my heart.

For God, I would sacrifice my youth with no regrets.

When trials came upon me, I failed, stumbled, and was revealed.

Only then did I finally realize that one cannot stand firm without the truth.

Without God’s judgment, I would never have known myself;

I would still be living under the influence of Satan, and I would misunderstand and complain about God.

Only now do I see how corrupted I have been by Satan.

For God, I have lacked even the slightest bit of true love.

I thought I understood the truth because I could preach certain words and doctrines.

I showed off like the hypocritical Pharisees.

I am regretful, why couldn’t I repay God’s love?

I am ashamed, I dare not show my face before God.

God’s judgment and chastisement allowed me to attain His great salvation.

I have resolved to seek to love God and bear testimony to Him forever.
