305  My Life Is Free and Liberated

I

My heart has been liberated and it has taken flight;

I am no longer negative and passive, and I repay God’s love.

Before, I misunderstood God’s intentions and paid no heed to Him;

seeing God’s love motivated me, I’ve resolved that I must love God.

I must repay the love of God, and let Him gain my heart.

Look! Flowers are blooming everywhere, music rings out in my heart,

and I sing out my love for God.

II

Eating and drinking God’s words fills me with joy;

God’s love drives me.

Understanding the truth, I love God and praise Almighty God.

I do my duty well and spread the gospel; though I suffer, there is joy.

I’m excited and especially stirred to sing a song of love.

I must repay the love of God, and let Him gain my heart.

and I sing out my love for God.

Almighty God, it is You who have given me a happy life.

I’ve said goodbye to the corrupt, depraved, empty life of the past;

I strive to change my disposition, live out normal humanity,

and do whatever I can in the house of God.

I must repay the love of God, and let Him gain my heart.
